| EurekAlert: One year after treatment, bone density was significantly increased in each of the zoledronate groups, compared with the placebo group. The percentage improvement in spine bone density was similar for each zoledronate group, according to the authors: 3.5 percent for the 1 mg dose, 4 percent for the 2.5 mg dose and 3.6 percent for the standard 5.0 mg dose. |
