ISN-Danone Symposium: The Kidneys & Fluid Intake
The International Society of Nephrology (ISN) and Danone celebrate the 50th anniversary of their first partnership and organize a joint symposium on The Kidneys and Fluid Intake: A Public Health Issue in 2010. Chaired by ISN President Bernardo Rodríguez-Iturbe, the event will focus on the global impact of kidney disease today, the influence of fluid intake and prevention and treatment of the disease in emerging countries. ISN first meeting in 1960 was held in Geneva, partly sponsored by the Evian water company, now part of the Danone group. The joint event is held alongside the webcast ISN 50 Years Panel Discussions and the Nexus Symposium on Fibrosis and the Kidney.
