Sunday, April 22, 2012 ANGELES CITY -- Representative Carmelo Lazatin (1st district, Pampanga) and Governor Lilia Pineda have signed a memorandum of agreement for the creation of the Mabalacat Dialysis Center. Lazatin said the dialysis center will benefit thousands of residents from the towns of Mabalacat and Magalang and Angeles City. Have something to report? Tell us in text, photos or videos. Lazatin will allocate P1.5 million funds from his Priority Development Assistance Fund and will channel it to the Public Works department District Engineering Office. Pineda said the Provincial Government will earmark an additional P14 million to complete the project. The Provincial Government will also provide the dialysis center the additional equipment needed. Lazatin during his term has filed bills providing free medical services to the poor, senior citizens and the youth. Among the services are free professional fee of attending physicians and free annual physical examination for senior citizens, including x-rays, computerized tomography scans, cardiac stress tests, endoscopy and ultrasound on kidneys. Mabalacat Mayor Marino Morales witnessed the agreement signing. They were joined by Public Works department district engineering office head Jesus Obordo, Board Members Cris Garbo, Tarz Halili (1st district); Fritzie Dizon (2nd District) and Raul Macalino and Monina Laus (3rd district).
