I received two treatments at the Instituto de Nefrología while staying in Havana from April 1-9 2016. I highly recommend them! My treatments were professionally administered and the people were amazing. They are so kind and everyone greets you with a smile. Dr Lopez is the best Nephrologist I've seen anywhere in the world. He interviewed me directly to ensure my information was communicated to all team members. Machines are modern and process the same. Visitors are treated in a private room with a nurse exclusively monitoring you. I can't say enough good things about them!!

I got dialysis from the 6th November to 29th December, three times per week. The routines are similar to what I am used to in Sweden. All the equipment had a very high standard and the consumables where from Fresenius. I got a private room with a very qualified nurse. Every day I could speak with a specialist doctor. The price was 100 CUC per session and I got a perfect receipt. I could really recommend this hospital.

I had 2 hemodialysis sessions at Instituto de Nefrologia in Havana on March 20&22nd 2012.
I got a private very clean room with full time nurse and a doctor visted 2 times each session.
The dialysis machine was modern Fresenius Medical Care 4008S. good quality needles (2),tubings and tapings. The other procedures were close to my dialysis center in Mississauga Toronto.
The cost was CUC 100.00 (Canadian $108.00)per session. I got a proper recipt.

J'ai été dialisé à l'Institut National de Néphrologie à la Havane en 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, et 2007 et je peux dire que c'est très bien pour les visiteurs. Les machines sont modernes et le personnel est très compétent.

mi nombre es julio pujol y vivo en estos momentos en miami pero durante mucho tiempo pude ver el enorme esfuerzo y la dedicacion de sus profesionales en el trato de los pacientes con insuficiencias renal cronica ya que lo vivi en mi esposa que actualmente esta en el programa de dialisis en espera de un trasplante renal despues de haber perdido la primera operacion y realmente les estoy y estare eternamente agradecido por todo lo que hacen por licett sotolongo y ojala que pronto pueda ser trasplantada.
