We definately recommend this hospital Jan 23 2016 Royal United Hospital, Bath A good experience for the quality of care and consideration shown to me as a first time visitor, with a new fistula still causing some problems. Staff very kind and considerate. Explanations given and answers provided due to the equipment that was used and the methodology being different to my home unit. I will certainly visit this unit again. it is one of 3 I could use to visit my family but why go anywhere else when you get lucky and find a gem. 12 November Amerimed Cabo San Lucas Dialysis Center "I've used this facility in Los Cabos and found it to be clean and run efficiently, i'm planning a return trip this October. Staff was very friendly and were able to assist me at the last min since the persons handling my booking did not follow up with the center." I got a private very clean room with full time nurse and a doctor visted 2 times each session. The dialysis machine was modern Fresenius Medical Care 4008S. good quality needles (2),tubings and tapings. The other procedures were close to my dialysis center in Mississauga Toronto. I was there at 4.20 in the morning and was very well taken care of. The treatment was 4 hours and the staff that attended me were very professional. They also helped me to find another FMC center for my next treatment in two days. I can recommend FMC Culver City." Since my husband is on home hemo, which allows him to eat almost anything and, overall, feel healthy, the chance to have nocturnal dialysis was a huge benefit. The first night he arrived to discover that what the unit offers is barebones; no blanket, pillow, or snacks. But they did supply the most important necessity; clean treatment in the hands of competent professionals. The second night, he came prepared with a blanket, pillow and sleep mask. The only thing missing was ear plugs. To cap it off, there are interesting diners open all night where you can get a hearty breakfast before 7 am, which is where we met there to begin our days. If nocturnal dialysis was offered in other countries it would open up a world of travel. Portable units, that enable patients to do home hemo on the road, are not yet available where we are located."
