PHILADELPHIA—The National Renal Administrators Association (NRAA) has launched its innovative NRAA HIE (Health Information Exchange) to help independent, regional, and community-based dialysis providers electronically submit data to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) CROWNWeb reporting system to satisfy CMS Conditions for Coverage for ESRD.

"The NRAA has been working closely with CMS, on behalf of its members, to develop an efficient and reliable electronic data submission solution for independent, regional, and community based dialysis providers that is less burdensome than manual entry," said Marc Chow, MS, NRAA executive director. "The NRAA HIE is the culmination of these efforts. We're very excited to make this cost-effective solution widely available to our members."

The NRAA HIE for CROWNWeb is a routing hub that receives required CROWNWeb data from dialysis providers and electronically submits data seamlessly and securely to CMS for the ESRD program. It does not store or aggregate any information.
