Erin Miller-Simpson, executive director for the Portage la Prairie Hospital Foundation, said comfort and safety is the hospitals priority for patients. “We want patients to be comfortable when being on these dialysis chairs,” she said. Money that was used to make this purchase came from the charitable personal donations from the public and local organizations. The cost of the eight chairs is just over $45,000.
