Chairman and Managing Director of Neyveli Lignite Corporation(NLC) B. Surender Mohan has laid foundation stone and unveiled a plaque for construction of new dialysis centre and eye bank in District Government Hospital, Cuddalore under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) scheme of NLC.

A two-storied building will be constructed in an area of 6,500 sqft area at the cost of Rs.96 lakh for the centre. NLC has also agreed to provide 13 dialysis machines’ at a cost of Rs. 1 crore for the new centre.

Mr. Surender Mohan said that for the current year, NLC will be spending Rs. 41.42 crore for CSR activities apart from constructing 2500 toilet blocks at a cost of Rs. 52.50 crore in Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan.
